Heart Telethon - Ottawa ON

On Sunday March 6th, Northern Micro was proud to be the exclusive sponsor of all the IT requirements for the Heart Telethon along with volunteering to work the phones.

The Heart Telethon raised more than $5.8 million dollars. This total tops the 2010 total of $5.7 million dollars. Northern Micro is pleased to be a part of this great event!

Heart Telethon

This year represents 18 years of participation in the Ottawa Heart Institute Telethon. 

The telethon will take place at Brookstreet Hotel in Ottawa on Sunday March 6th from 9:00 am to 7:00pm

January 2011: Northern Micro is awarded "Business People's Choice IT Solutions Provider for 2010"

Over the past 6 Months IT IN Canada surveyed more than 2200 Canadian IT managers with the question: "We're trying to recognize the role of resellers in helping Canadian IT to be more successful. Do you work with any resellers who are particularly good at helping you to use IT to business advantage?"

After combing through the results, they identified 100 resellers who qualified as "Business People's Choice". Northern Micro is one of the proud recipients of this award.

November 2008: Increase in resources

In an effort to maintain the high level of services offered by our Sales teams, Northern Micro has elected to increase the Sales resources by one External Representative and two Internal Representatives. These extra resources will help us continue making our customer’s procurement challenges easy.

Ontario Summer Games of 2008

Northern Micro was one of the sponsors for the 2008 Ontario Summer Games hosted by the city of Ottawa August 13-16. Northern Micro was the Official Computer Supplier to the Ontario Summer Games.
